In Relationship with the Dark and Light

It is only within:

-Impossibility that possibility can be found,

-Chaos that order can be assembled,

-Darkness that enlightenment is sought.

What do adventurers require to navigate between these opposites? Perhaps:

  • Tear up the maps of prior attempts?
  • Recognise that their past has equipped them?
  • Knowing that ‘forever’ is not a destination.
  • Accepting that life is about taking steps, always.

Forward or backward, while entertained or alone, our journeys will continue regardless.

The sense of overwhelm one feels when considering stepping forward is the result of a relationship with the past and its absorbed; hand-me-down opinions of others, lies masquerading as truth, kick-back reactions and projected pain.

This is the realm of the external: It is here where impossibility, chaos and the darkness hold court.

When stepping forward we face our true fear, forging a relationship with ourselves. We listen to the stories which birthed the fears we tried to escape and choose to no longer run. As we feel these emotions we face the emotions, we validate them and integrate them.

This is the realm of the Internal: It is here where possibility, order and enlightenment offer the freedom of independence.

When in the light, remember its glow because in time it will once more fade to the darkness. There is always more to learn and further steps to take. To adventure is to release control to the process and to continuously learn from both the light and the dark.
